I think that at the beginning of the video, the shot transitions should be calm and smooth before the music plays, while the band set up. Once they begin to play, there should be lots of shot changing to keep the viewer's interest and to give the video a fast pace to go with the music. The shot transitions at this point should be sharper and faster, again to keep the fast pace..
