People judge us based on clothing, they might say 'Don't judge a book by its cover', but in truth, we all do to some extent. This means that costume and make-up is a vital part of visual media. The clothes must match people's expectations and preconceptions surrounding the music's genre, for example: if a death metal band dressed like geography teachers, fans would probably be less inclined to buy their music as they do not fit in with the death metal stereotype therefore fans would be less able to relate to them and their image. So our band's clothing in the video need to match fans' expectations of the band which will probably be based on other similar artists. We dressed the band casually and asked a couple of them to wear skinny jeans which are synonymous with the alternative genre that And The Winner Is fall into
